Nypro Mold, Inc.

- A Jabil Company, is seeking a paid, Information Systems or Computer Science Summer Intern with a passion for technology, collaboration and creative problem solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with the Systems Manager as well as various functional managers throughout the organization. The candidate must have strong communication skills, a strong work ethic and a can‑do attitude.

The intern is both excited to be stretched with new tasks and challenges, while maintaining a philosophy that it is important to do all tasks well, no matter how seemingly small.

Project Description

Work with our Systems Engineering, Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, Logistics, and Qualification teams to assist with the conversion of the current ERP system Classic UX customizations into the new web‑based UX. In this role, you will work with the Systems Manager and will be tasked with training on the ERP conversion tools, understanding the current UX customizations, converting the customizations into the new UX, testing the deployments, validating with users, updating as needed, and documenting the customizations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation, testing, and documentation of new software applications and system upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Contribute to data analysis and reporting initiatives, utilizing various IT tools.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects, including network configuration and server maintenance.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with various IT teams (e.g., development, infrastructure, cybersecurity) on ongoing projects.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and present findings to the IT department.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT assets.
Job Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with databases/queries required; experience with SQL, SQL Server, SQL Report Builder (SSRS), C# preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Self‑directed and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Position is Monday–Friday.
  • Summer internship.
