Position Summary

Nypro Mold is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Operator to join our machining team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in precision manufacturing and tooling. The CNC Operator will assist in operating and maintaining CNC equipment while learning to produce high-quality components used in injection mold tooling.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CNC machines under supervision

* Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

* Monitor machine operations to ensure proper function and detect issues

* Perform tool changes and offsets as directed

* Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

* Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and setup sheets

* Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

* Keep machines and work areas clean and organized

* Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

* Vocational School - completion or active

* Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

* Basic math skills (measurement, fractions, decimals)

Preferred:

* Exposure to CNC machining through coursework, training, or internships

* Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings

* Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods

* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

* Manual dexterity to handle tools and small components

Pay based on experienced: $21-$23/hour

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.35 - $29.42. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
