Responsibilities:

• Operate surface grinders to slice grinding stones to desired precision sizes based on engineered specifications and tolerances
• Perform back-stop and side-stop setups, and select and mount tools based on job requirements
• Measure parts using precision tools (micrometers and digital calipers) to ensure parts meet dimensional specification
• Utilize company ERP system to log time and materials of work performed
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation
• Follow written instructions to mark, package, and label products
• Transfer heated products between equipment using supplied PPE

Desired Background/

Skills:

• HS diploma
• Basic computers
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Previous experience operating industrial equipment
• Able to lift 50 lbs

Compensation / Training information: 3rd Shift (after training one week on first shift and then working 60-90 days on 2nd shift) +$2.50 during 2nd shift and + $4 (total) when on 3rd
