Job Opening:
Youth Advocate Coordinator
Eliot is currently looking for a Youth Advocate Coordinator in our Juvenile Justice residential program for court‑involved youth ages 13 to 21. In this role you will oversee and coordinate staff and youth in the execution of the daily program plan, providing comprehensive interventions in a highly structured, self‑contained environment.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth
- Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
- Ensure safety and security, including security checks
- Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
- Help youth identify goals and interests
- Cultivate a positive program environment
- Assign and lead daily group activities
- Serve as an advocate and role model for youth
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- At least two years of experience with the population
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Tuesday‑Saturday 3pm‑11pm (Sunday/Monday off)
- Tuesday‑Saturday 11pm‑7am (Sunday/Monday off)
Hourly Rate: $21.83 USD
