Shift Administrator – Juvenile Justice Residential Program
We are seeking a Shift Administrator to join our Juvenile Justice program’s residential division. The program provides court‑involved youth, ages 13 to 21, and offers comprehensive intervention for juvenile offenders. The ideal candidate will have an active knowledge of issues relating to the program population, including trauma, gang issues, violence, poverty, and family dysfunction.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of residential programming.
- Practice principles of Positive Youth Development and Trauma‑Informed Care.
- Act as a mentor and coach with youth, utilizing Trauma‑Informed Care interventions, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and other evidence‑based practices.
- Maintain compliance with program routines and policies.
- Provide staff supervision, guidance and coaching.
- Serve as a member of the administrative team and the on‑call rotation.
- Facilitate and participate in orientation, training and development opportunities for staff.
- Submit timely and accurate employee supervision documentation and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain positive, productive working relationships with staff, youth and external resources.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least two years of experience working with youthful offenders or a similar population.
- 2 p.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesday–Saturday (Sunday, Monday off)
Annual: $55,000 USD – $60,000 USD
