Youth Advocate Counselor

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with a respected Department of Youth Services (DYS) program in Clinton, MA seeking Youth Advocate Counselors to support females ages 14–22 in a staff-secured setting.

This is a meaningful, hands-on role where you'll help guide, mentor, and support youth as they work toward stability and positive growth. Ideal for entry-level candidates interested in human services, education, social work, or youth development.

• Schedules:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Wed–Sun
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Sun–Thurs
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Fri–Tues
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Thurs–Mon (Overnights are female-only)
• Pay: $25/hr

• Create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment using youth development and trauma-informed care principles
• Build positive relationships and serve as a mentor and role model
• Support youth in developing life skills, interests, and healthy decision-making
• Lead daily program activities that encourage personal growth
• Promote an inclusive and respectful environment
• Follow safety protocols, including crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques

• High school diploma or related experience
• Experience working with youth (professional or volunteer)
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
