• Assists in improving students’ skills in all academic areas as directed by the teacher.
• Promotes a positive image of the school district program to the public.
• Keeps records as directed by the teacher.
• Attends parent-teacher conferences as directed by the teacher.
• Exhibits high expectations for self and students.
• Demonstrates continued growth by participation in professional development activities.
• Adheres to all safety procedures, rules, and policies to ensure the well‑being of all students.
• Reports regularly and punctually to assigned work location and notifies principal or designee of impending absence in a timely manner.
• Maintains active supervision of students during all work and duty assignments.
• Maintains confidentiality of all student information.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the teacher and/or principal.
• Requires regular in‑person attendance.

• Must have completed at least 2 years of study (48 semester hours) at an institution of higher education, or
• Obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or
• Met a rigorous standard of quality as determined by a formal assessment. Work Keys Test – Applied Mathematics score of 4, Graphic Literacy score of 4 and Workplace Documents subtests score of 4.
