We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Therapy Technician to join our Outpatient Orthopedic Therapy Clinic. In this role, you'll work alongside licensed physical and occupational therapists to provide exceptional patient care while helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient therapy environment.
Whether you're exploring a career in healthcare or have previous therapy aide experience, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact on patients recovering from injury, surgery, or other orthopedic conditions.
What You'll Do- Assist therapists with patient care activities as directed and within established guidelines.
- Prepare treatment areas and therapy equipment before and after patient sessions.
- Assist with patient transportation, equipment set-up, and equipment delivery.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Monitor therapy areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
- Support therapists with daily operational tasks to promote efficient patient flow.
- Provide courteous, compassionate service to patients, families, and coworkers.
- Full-time
- Monday – Friday
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a therapy aide, rehabilitation technician, or in a related healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
- Candidates with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to safely assist with patient mobility and therapy equipment.
