Responsible for planning, organizing and directing recreational programs at the Waynesboro Community Homes; responsible for attending and coordinating outside activities for Special Olympics, Arts Fair, and other trips chosen by persons we serve that are living in these homes; serves as a HAB Team member; provides annual evaluation summary and CFA on each person we service along with written training programs and quarterly progress notes.

Efficient organizational and time management skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Positive work morale. Ability to be flexible in thinking and problem solving. Realistic expectations about the difficulty and challenges of the work. Ability to handle an often-unpredictable work environment.

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 3-4 years of experience. Agency additional qualifications:

Must have a valid Mississippi Drivers' License and a safe driving record as outlined in the Ellisville State School Safety Manual.

Demonstrate proficiency and experience in conducting activities in one or more program area.
