Position: Business Analyst

Location: Jackson, MS (100% Remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Required Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) requirements with stakeholders and development teams
Collaborate with Project Manager, Architect, and Developers to ensure business requirements are clearly communicated, accepted, and aligned with expectations
Translate and simplify stakeholder requirements into formal written documentation for development teams
Develop and manage the following documents:
- Business Requirements Document (BRD)
- Functional Design Document (FDD)
- Technical Design Document (TDD)
- Technical Use Cases
- User Stories
- Business Cases
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Test Cases
Create diagrams, flowcharts, and workflow documentation of business processes
Create and manage test cases for Quality Assurance
Strong understanding of software and database development concepts
Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst on software development teams
Experience developing technical documentation for enterprise software users, system administrators, and technical audiences
Strong experience in requirements management and mapping business processes into technical documentation

Preferred (Not Required):

Experience with MS Visio or similar diagramming tools
Experience in the Educational Domain
