Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support State, Local and Education—or SLED—customers throughout Arkansas. This position will combine presales engineering with the design, implementation, troubleshooting and ongoing support of enterprise networking solutions for K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, state agencies and local governments.
The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on networking experience, communicates well with customers and can support opportunities from initial technical discovery and solution design through implementation and post‑sales support. Senior-level experience is preferred, but strong professional-level candidates will also be considered.

- Professional or senior-level experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Experience providing technical presales support, including discovery, solution design, presentations and proposal development.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networking, firewalls and network security.
- Hands‑on experience with HPE Aruba Networking, Juniper Networks and Fortinet solutions.
- Aruba, Juniper or Fortinet professional-level certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience with Aruba Central, Juniper Mist, Forti Manager, Forti Gate or similar management platforms is preferred.
- Experience supporting K-12, higher education, state government or local government environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with public‑sector procurement, RFPs and E‑rate is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and communicate technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, organization and project-management skills.
Must reside in or near Little Rock and be willing to travel throughout Arkansas.
