Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production machinery through maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high‑quality standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall production efficiency.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on production machines to ensure smooth operation.
  • Identify potential breakdowns and replace or adjust machine parts as needed.
  • Implement machine improvements to enhance quality, increase production levels, and reduce breakdowns.
  • Maintain a high level of machinery availability to support production goals.
  • Keep the workplace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards on a daily basis.
  • Execute planned maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Accurately report all performed work in SAP‑PM, including work order confirmations and spare parts reservations.
  • Collaborate and provide support to Continental Business Teams as required.
  • Take ownership of personal safety and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate time attendance records.
  • Report any unsafe situations or behaviors to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications What You Bring To

The Role
  • AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proven skills in repairing and maintaining electro‑mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi‑meters, and other test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willing to work 12‑hour rotational shift pattern including days, nights, and weekends.

The Environment
