Mid-State Welding, a Clinton, MS steel fabrication shop, is seeking a Structural Steel Fitter to read shop drawings and lay out and assemble beams, columns, stairs, rails, and welded steel parts. You will verify dimensions and fit-up, align and tack components, and coordinate with welders and shop staff.
Ideal candidates include those with hands-on shop experience or formal training in structural steel fabrication.
