Merchandiser​/Order Writer

Responsibilities

• Fulfill the merchandising needs of customers through communication & relationship building
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
• Become an ambassador of brands like Oreo, Ritz, and Chips Ahoy
• Work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of products
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps
• Order product for shelf and display
• Ensure leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained
• Communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team
• Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager
• Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches
• Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Positive and professional attitude
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
• Ability to perform physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
• Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Clinton, MS)

Demonstrates strong communication and relationship-building skills to fulfill merchandising needs while effectively managing product visibility and stock levels. Capable of working independently and maintaining a positive attitude in a retail environment.
