Lead Maintenance Mechanic Multi-Property

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary for Hollywood Tunica and 1 st Jackpot:

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service and aesthetic standards .
• Support the Facilities Engineer ing team in leading the maintenance and repair of all guest rooms , public space, back of house and exterior facilities at both Hollywood and 1 st Jackpot casinos . Includes; though not limited to:
• R epairs and installation of wall covering, flooring, painting, woodwork and drywall .
• Co mplete projects such as office build outs, room renovation, Etc.
• Upkeep of property decorations and cosmetics
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the Facilities Engineering Shop.
• Prepares and inspects daily work forms.
• Routinely inspects all lighting throughout the property, identifying potential problems, and resolving same .
• Responds to mainte nance requests and house calls.
• Maintains pool facilities as assigned.
• Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained .
• Follows Safety and S ecurity procedures;
  Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines;
  Reports potentially unsafe conditions;
  Uses equipment and materials properly.

Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations , and controls of the company.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos . Ability to write simple correspondence . Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using
• whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to establish and maintain
• an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers, and guests. Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability and knowledge to send out professional emails. Good spelling and grammar skills.
