About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and responsible Aircraft Dispatcher to support flight operations from their hub in George . In this vital role, you will be responsible for the planning and oversight of flight operations, ensuring that all flights depart safely and efficiently within regulatory guidelines. You will work closely with pilots, air traffic control, and ground operations to manage flight schedules, fuel requirements, and weather assessments.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of aviation regulations and operational procedures.

• Develop and approve flight plans, considering weather, fuel requirements, and operational constraints.
• Monitor flight progress and provide necessary updates and support to flight crews.
• Ensure compliance with all domestic and international aviation regulations.
• Coordinate with air traffic control, maintenance, and ground operations for seamless flight execution.
• Prepare and disseminate operational information, including NOTAMs and weather reports.
• Manage flight schedule changes and disruptions effectively.

• A valid Aircraft Dispatcher certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in flight operations or dispatch within an airline environment.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation weather, navigation, and aircraft performance.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and operational systems.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills under pressure.
