Mike Keith Insurance is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support our individual Life & Health department. The ideal candidate should be a professional and goal-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills. A minimum of two years of previous experience selling Medicare and Affordable Care Act products is required, as well as an existing Life & Health license for the state of Missouri.

This role will involve virtual, phone and in-person appointments with clients as well as the clerical functions related to maintaining and individual life & health book of business.

Mike Keith Insurance is willing to consider applicants for a full-time position as well as a seasonal position during the open enrollment period. This position would have the flexibility between our Clinton and Warrensburg locations.

Mike Keith Insurance is a well-established local agency. It offers afull-service product that includes customized employee benefits, personal and commercial insurance, surety bonds, safety and loss prevention,and private risk management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Assist other team members with servicing and administration.
  • Responds to client inquiries, documents communications, issues, and resolution.
  • Ensure essential tasks are completed for the client at appropriate times in the service cycle.
  • Maintain excellent carrier relationships to provide client advocacy at appropriate times.
  • Resolve client issues with a sense of urgency to avoid disruptions in client service and/or coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in navigating Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience selling Medicare and Affordable Care Act products.
  • Team player who takes initiative and is self-motivated for continuous learning and development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve challenges effectively.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact well with diverse personalities.
  • Able to operate independently with minimal supervisor intervention.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a detail-focused approach.
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed.
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
