Certified Nursing Assistant
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for patient care duties delegated to them by the LPN or RN. The CNA must have great communication skills and work well in a fast-paced environment. The CNA must work collaboratively with their coworkers in order to care for the patients effectively. Candidates must be able to work independently as well and be aware of patient information or changes in status that need to be reported to the licensed nurse.
Duties include but are not limited to: taking vital signs, weighing patients, transferring patients, assisting patients with their activities of daily living, documenting of any patient care provided, preparing patients for surgery and assisting them during their recovery from surgery, and assisting licensed nurses with various tasks. Education/Credentials:
Current Nursing Assistant certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience:
