Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

• Your starting hourly pay rate: $15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
• Paid training through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
• Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 8–12 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory at assigned stores. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys.
• Holiday support:
  Provide additional days and extended hours during key holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the holiday itself.
• Department resets:
  Assist with installations, fixture building, and relocating product sections. Commenced typically two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration:
  Support other field merchandisers within Hallmark’s network as needed.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. Tasks include pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lbs daily and up to 50 lbs occasionally. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the shift, and may need to climb stairs and ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Can read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Proficient using a digital handheld device to open documents and interpret information.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned stores.
