Warehouse Associate - Material Handler

General

This position will be driving a forklift, unloading trucks, checking in freight, and putting it up. The position requires standing on your feet and heavy lifting.

This position is responsible for picking parts and materials and delivering them to the proper location. It will also unload deliveries of parts and materials, place them in the appropriate area, and operate a forklift in and out of a truck.

• Based on daily requirements, pick parts from various locations and stage for delivery
• Transport to assigned areas
• Unload shipments of raw material/finished goods. Verify serial numbers and/or quantity and place them in proper locations
• Process and update various inventory control paperwork and computer reports
• Use F.I.F.O. (First in, first out)
• Complete all assigned or team duties in a timely manner
• Keep work area clean, safe, and hazard free
• Other duties as assigned
