• Shift Structure: 24-hour call coverage for the date blocks listed below (8:00A–8:00A)
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $6,340–$7,510/week
• Assignment Dates Needed:
  • Mon, Mar 23 (8:00A) – Fri, Mar 27 (8:00A)
  • Mon, May 4 (8:00A) – Fri, May 8 (8:00A)
  • Fri, May 15 (8:00A) – Mon, May 18 (8:00A)
• Clinical Support: Hospitalist support staff; 24/7 on‑call Anesthesiology and Radiology support
• Volume Snapshot: ~27 deliveries/month; ~11 C‑sections/month; typically 1–3 deliveries per 24‑hour period
• Unit/Capacity: 3 labor rooms; 14 postpartum
• High‑Risk Coverage: Emergent high‑risk deliveries only; transfers for NICU‑level services as indicated per the facility’s protocols
• On‑Call Expectations: Must be able to be within 20 minutes of the hospital per bylaws

• Licensure: Active North Carolina medical license (NC physician license)
• DEA: Active NC DEA (NC address required)
• Credentialing: Must be enrolled in PECOS and have NC Medicaid credentialing
• Board Status: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Case Logs: Hospital‑generated case logs from the last 12 months required; bid submissions may also request that candidates are actively delivering babies with case logs covering the past 24 months
• Professional History: No recent or open malpractice cases (details required if any history); disclose any disciplinary actions
• Clinical Skills (Required/Preferred):
  • Low‑risk pregnancy management (required)
  • OB ultrasound performance/interpretation (required);
    Level I/II preferred
  • Routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal delivery, C‑section decision‑making and performance, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBACs (required)
  • Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations (required)
  • Office/minor GYN procedures (required): IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical GYN (required): open procedures; laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (e.g., tubal ligation, LOA’s); operative/major (e.g., ectopic pregnancy, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s)
  • FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) (preferred)
  • Laser certification (required)

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB/GYN services, including emergent C‑sections and vaginal deliveries
• Round on obstetric patients and manage inpatient OB care from admission through postpartum
• Respond to emergent gynecologic consults and procedures as needed
• Collaborate with anesthesia, radiology, nursing, and hospitalist support to ensure safe, timely patient care
• Stabilize and coordinate transfer for high‑risk cases requiring NICU‑level services when indicated
• Document care clearly and comply with facility policies, credentialing standards, and on‑call response expectations
