We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
• Proven experience in emergency hospital settings
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech 6.1
• Ability to effectively manage high patient volumes with efficiency and compassion
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Previous experience working in a Level II or Level III trauma center
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Experience with ICU and open ICU management
• Skilled in handling a diverse patient population and complex cases

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine clinical experience
• Prior experience in a similar healthcare environment

Other Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in NC Medicaid and PECOS
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on Sundays, with open date starting 05/10/2026
• Comfortable working in hospital-owned apartments
• Travel reimbursement capped at $500 when applicable
• Able to adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
