Required Skills:
- Active North Carolina Medical License
- NC DEA Certification with NC address
- NC Medicaid and Medicare PECOS enrollment
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience delivering babies, supported by recent case logs (last 24 months)
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk deliveries and emergent GYN procedures
- No recent or open malpractice cases
- Active NC Medicaid credential
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience managing high-risk pregnancies
- Familiarity with hospitalist support systems
- Experience with hospital-based case documentation and reporting
- Knowledge of hospital bylaws and on-call protocols
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries and emergent procedures
- Experience working within hospital settings, preferably in North Carolina
- Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital premises
- Willingness to participate in 24-hour call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries
- Ability to support obstetric and gynecological emergencies, including high-risk transfers to regional NICU facilities
- Ability to work in hospital apartments adjacent to the facility
- Travel and reimbursement considerations: travel costs capped at $500, including mileage, rental car, gas, airfare; provider must provide detailed case logs and submit required documentation per hospital protocols
