Required Skills:

Valid Medical License and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine

NC Medicaid Credentialed and enrolled in PECOS

Proven experience in emergency medicine, including rapid assessment and treatment

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently within a high-volume environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with Meditech 6.1 EMR system

Prior work in open ICU settings

Additional certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, and PALS

Fluency in multiple languages

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience

Prior experience working in hospital-based emergency settings

Other Requirements:

Must be available for open shifts starting Sunday, May 10th, from 7AM to 7PM

Ability to work 12-hour shifts with open ICU coverage

Must reside within reasonable commuting distance or be able to accommodate travel arrangements

Travel reimbursement capped at $500

Ability to handle an average of 18-20 patients per shift in a high-volume environment
