About the Position
Join Our Esteemed Healthcare Team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist
Are you a dedicated OB-GYN seeking an impactful opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive environment? We are looking for a highly qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology provider to join our team for a critical coverage period, ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina medical license and NC DEA registration
Enrolled in NC Medicaid and PECOS
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Fully vaccinated against communicable diseases
Recent experience with obstetric deliveries (case logs from past 24 months)
Proven ability to manage high-risk pregnancies (emergent high-risk deliveries)
No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions
Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with hospital protocols
Ability to work on-call and respond swiftly to emergent procedures including C-sections and vaginal deliveries
Must submit detailed case logs, malpractice history, disciplinary actions, and travel details
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with high-risk obstetrics and NICU transfer processes
Familiarity with hospitalist support systems
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Prior experience in hospital-based OB-GYN care in North Carolina
Preferred
Education & Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology
Experience managing high-volume obstetric cases
Other Requirements:
Must be located within 20 minutes of the hospital premises in accordance with bylaws
Willingness to work a 24-hour on-call schedule from May 5th to May 8th, 2026
Ability to round on patients, assist in emergent procedures, and coordinate care with hospital staff
Provider housing will be adjacent to the hospital facility
