Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Weld Engineer to facilitate the timely resolution of issues arising during the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will analyze current operations to improve productivity and reduce product costs, while also managing corporate design agreement changes.
Responsibilities- Facilitate timely resolution of problems and issues that arise during the manufacturing process, including non‐conforming material analysis and equipment problems.
- Analyze and critique current operations to improve productivity and lower product cost, utilizing time studies, workstation and plant layouts, and other resources.
- Perform corporate design agreement changes, analyze necessary changes, and coordinate material change implementation.
- Interface with suppliers to resolve industrialization issues.
- Review and create industrial documentation such as standard operating procedures and process/material flow diagrams.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing associates, other engineers, and management with expert knowledge of process tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and welding.
- Experience in process improvement and robotic welding.
- Knowledge of process engineering and lean manufacturing.
- Expertise in fabrication and continuous improvement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Welding experience required—working with welded products (not physically welding).
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clinton, NC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
