JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat, Inc. the world's leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking an Assembler with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, NC Manufacturing location.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners.
- Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
- Operates drill presses, pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
- Adhere to all safety procedures
REQUIRED:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis
