Licensed Practical Nurse

• Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor their performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies or patient changes, and implement physician orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Assist in directing nursing services for designated units under supervision.
• Delegate tasks to nursing staff and monitor their performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms, reactions, and changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies or patient changes, and implement physician orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid LPN license from the appropriate licensing board.
• Ability to provide quality, compassionate care with a focus on geriatric patients.
• Willingness to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies as needed.
• CPR certification, renewed annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.
