Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services within a care facility, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms or reactions indicating adverse changes in physical or mental condition.
- Notify physicians in emergencies and implement prescribed changes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma and graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
- Current, valid North Carolina LPN license with biennial renewal proof.
- Willingness to serve as charge nurse and assist during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality patient care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
