Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Fri  05:45 AM - 06:00 PM    Sat  05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and follow post orders for controlled movement of people, vehicles, and property.
Support assigned operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing clear directions, and following protocols for alarms, medical calls, disturbances, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
