As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:
- Mon: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Tue: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Wed: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government corrections location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
