Armed Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Route Driver to protect client sites across a scheduled driving route. In this role, you will operate a company vehicle, provide an armed security presence, perform patrols and access control, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service. You will complete detailed reports, communicate with dispatch and clients, and follow strict safety and weapons protocols.

Responsibilities

• Drive designated security routes to multiple client sites, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
• Provide armed security presence, deter criminal activity, and respond quickly to incidents.
• Conduct access control, badge checks, and perimeter patrols at assigned locations.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain secure transport of any assigned materials or equipment.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports using company systems.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and client contacts while on route.
• Follow all weapons safety, use-of-force, and company security protocols.
• Participate in required training, drills, and certifications to maintain armed officer status.
• Operate company vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Assist clients, visitors, and employees with directions, escorts, and general security support.
