Temporary Admissions and Exhibit Associate

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $13.14/hour.

• Staffs admissions desk and gift shop
• Handles direct sales to the public, including operation of the cash register and credit card machines
• Maintains positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and flexible to best serve the public during all work activities
• Gives visitors an introduction to the museum
• Gives guided tours as needed
• Assists with collections inventory and cleaning
• Assists with coordination for the moving of artifacts
• Helps update Argus database, assisting with identification and photographing of artifacts
• Helps plan and present programs and special events
• This position requires a work schedule including weekends and extended hours during the summer and special events

High School Diploma or GED
