- Staff admissions desk and assist full-time guest services associate with daily duties
- Handles direct sales to the public, including operation of the cash register and credit card machines
- Maintain positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and exercising flexibility to best serve the public during all work activities
- Gives visitors an introduction to the museum
- Gives guided tours as needed
- Recruits and services group tours
- Occasionally attends industry group travel events and sales markets to promote museum
- Maintains group tour records and databases
- Helps plan and present programs and special events
- This position does require a work schedule to include the weekend and extended hours during the summer and special events
High School Diploma or GED
