Temporary Gift Shop Associate – Oklahoma Rt 66 Museum, Clinton, OK. Organization:
Historical Society & Museums & Sites. Job Type: Part Time - Temporary.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, up to 19 hours per week.

Note:

Position may require weekend work and extended hours during the summer and during special events.

• Staffs gift shop desk.
• Handles direct sales to the public, including operation of the cash register and credit card machines.
• Maintain positive relations with visitors by being courteous, respectful, and flexible to best serve the public during all work activities.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, pricing, and merchandising of stock for the gift shop.
• Manage backstock and storeroom.
• Greet visitors and provide an introduction to the museum; give guided tours as needed.
• Help plan and present programs and special events.
• Being present at the office and attendance as required is an essential function of the job.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.

This position requires the ability to work in a museum environment, with occasional weekend and evening commitments during events. The role may involve standing for extended periods and handling merchandise.
