Kindergarten Teacher

Nance Elementary is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centered Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment where young learners feel safe, valued, and challenged. The teacher will provide high-quality instruction, foster social-emotional development, and work collaboratively with colleagues and families to support student achievement.

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of assessment tools.
• Foster social-emotional growth and positive classroom behavior.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, support staff, and administration.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives.
• Support school-wide programs and activities that promote student success.
• Work collaboratively as a member of a Professional Learning Community (PLC) and grade-level team to plan instruction, review student progress, implement interventions, and support student achievement.

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate with appropriate elementary certification.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and effective instructional practices.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to creating a welcoming and engaging learning environment for all students.
