Operations Coordinator
This role is responsible for accurate recording and collection of operational KPIs, daily data analysis and tracking of efficiency progress, downtime, scrap, changeover, and data trending. It will assist in improving cost efficiency and work with various departments to meet safety, efficiency, customer service, quality, GMP, cost, FP&R, and environmental protection objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Validate daily operations data to ensure functionality and integrity.
- Report yield and AML results.
- Serve as a resource for Continuous Improvement projects, including participation in Kaizen events, CI projects, and meeting minutes.
- Report packaging consumption and regrind opportunities.
- Define data requirements, collect and validate information using judgment and statistical analysis.
- Prepare reports for management defining problems, evaluations, and recommended solutions.
- Prepare production efficiency, downtime tracking, and asset utilization reports.
- Participate on cross-functional teams and special projects as needed.
- Understand and align with Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Food Safety.
- Identify and report Food Safety issues to management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of office productivity suites, spreadsheet tools, and email/calendar (e.g., Google Suite, Excel).
- Ability to read/write/speak and understand English.
- Availability to work any shift and weekends as needed.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, MES, Tableau, DOMO, or Google Looker Studio.
- Experience with Asset Utilization modeling.
Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional overtime on paid weekends.
Travel: up to 10% of time.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $52,800.00 – $72,000.00 USD.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plan with company matching (subject to eligibility), minimum 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly: 120 hours), 13 paid holidays, and paid sick leave adjusted to local laws.
