general description

the f&b kitchen staff is under the direct supervision of the food and beverage supervisor. F&b kitchen staff is responsible for providing quality food and service. Also, adhere to lucky star employee handbook and food and beverage policies and procedures.

work schedule

• requires mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Monday through sunday.
• request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval.

essential duties and responsibilities

• fulfill the duties and responsibilities at any given time of line cook, or kitchen utility in accordance to policies and procedures.
• ensure proper kitchen set-up to include prep of work space, food recipes & supplies.
• ensure proper kitchen breakdown to include transfer product, accurate left over labeling/storage.
• maintain high standard of food and beverage preparation to include quality and timeliness.
• continuously maintain high level of sanitation and safety in food preparation and work area/stations.
• maintain inventory stock levels of supplies/condiments and food.
• must exhibit star treatment to all customers and co-workers.
• other duties as assigned by supervisor.

physical job requirements

• stand/walk continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
• requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
• move objects up to and exceeding 40lbs. With reasonable accommodations.

qualification standards

• must pass pre-employment drug test.
• must maintain valid cheyenne-arapaho gaming permit.
