Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support elementary and middle school students in Clinton, SC. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to a diverse caseload within a school setting. Both full-time and part-time contracts are available, offering flexibility to suit different schedules and commitments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student learning and mental health
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Experience working as a school psychologist in elementary and middle school settings
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools
- Understanding of child development and learning disabilities
- State licensure or certification as a school psychologist
