Material Handler

Overview

The Warehouse Technician will support Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions by ensuring efficient and accurate handling of shipments, inventory, and warehouse operations in a dynamic production environment.

• Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments to minimize errors.
• Maintain attendance and task trustworthiness, consistently adhering to work schedules and completing responsibilities.
• Pull and stock parts based on order details, ensuring correct pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
• Packing orders by utilizing spray foam and pre‑shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes and prevent damage during transit.
• Process UPS and Fed Ex domestic orders through shipping software, ensuring correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
• Unpack returned items, verify condition, and initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
• Receive supplier deliveries, verify against purchase orders, inspect condition, and process items into inventory.
• Safely operate forklifts for moving large and heavy items.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes; prior lift truck experience preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to teach others with compassion and an understanding that people learn in different ways.

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Operate lift trucks safely around others in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform manual dexterity tasks using hand and small power tools.
• Reach, bend, stoop, climb, or crouch as required.
