Delivery of production materials and supplies to a production area to ensure continuous operations of processes and machines.
Job Responsibilities- Identify, label, and place materials in stock.
- Record location of material, pull and verify material listed in production orders.
- Deliver and open materials; record units delivered and locations.
- Load and unload materials, organize materials in the warehouse.
- Operate forklift and other handling equipment.
- Track inventory levels and ensure materials are available on the production floor as needed.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Store and organize inventory.
- Retrieve and package materials for shipment.
- Document deliveries and ensure correct items are shipped.
