Registered Nurse - Night Shift Cardiac Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30 with weekend coverage every other weekend.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our cardiac telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide care for inpatient adults dealing with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. You will be responsible for managing patients with cardiovascular issues including, but not limited to, sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.
Responsibilities:
- Administer vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies.
- Provide thrombolytic therapy and perform defibrillation/cardioversion.
- Conduct thoracentesis and monitor cardiac telemetry.
- Perform EKGs and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in South Carolina.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience required.
- Two years of nursing experience preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.
