The Role

As a Customer Account Manager
, you are the primary point of contact for assigned customers and the owner of the end‑to‑end customer experience  will act as a trusted partner—connecting customer needs with internal teams to ensure smooth execution, clear communication, and long‑term customer success.

This role blends relationship management, operational coordination, and commercial awareness. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Services, and Finance to support customer goals while balancing compliance, timelines, and business priorities.

A Day in the Life

As a Customer Account Manager
, your day is driven by customer priorities and operational flow. You may start the morning reviewing forecasts, sales orders, or upcoming production schedules, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and internal planning. Throughout the day, you’ll communicate with customers to provide updates, clarify requirements, or discuss upcoming changes—while coordinating internally with subject matter experts to keep work moving forward.

You’ll lead or prepare for business review meetings, support new product implementations, and manage smaller customer‑driven changes such as label updates or packaging instruction revisions. Whether resolving questions, reviewing pricing and quotations, or allocating customer‑owned bulk materials, your role requires balancing detail with big‑picture thinking. Each day, your work strengthens partnerships, reduces risk, and helps ensure customers experience Tjoapack as a reliable, proactive extension of their own organization.

What

You’ll Do Customer Success & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers.
  • Build strong partnerships focused on long‑term success and satisfaction.
  • Lead Business Review Meetings (BRMs) and ongoing customer communications.
Forecasting, Orders & Operations
  • Evaluate and administer customer forecasts.
  • Own sales orders and support bulk and production order management.
  • Allocate customer‑owned bulk or semi‑finished goods and generate allocation documentation.
  • Review pricing and quotations for accuracy and correctness.
  • Maintain general financial oversight for assigned accounts.
  • Support ancillary services management.
New Product & Change Management
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs to define requirements and timelines.
  • Support new product implementations and customer initiatives.
Compliance, Risk & Continuous Improvement
  • Support customer and supplier compliance initiatives.
  • Identify risks and proactively communicate impacts to internal teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including RCA, CAPA, change control, and risk assessments as applicable.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or High School Diploma with relevant experience.
  • Experience in customer service, account management, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical operations and cGMP/cGDP environments.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or QAD preferred).
  • Ability to perform well in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
