Special Education Teacher - Inclusion
Anderson County High School is looking for a caring, hard‑working teacher to support students in a Special Education setting.
Responsibilities- Diagnosing and evaluating specific students’ needs as needed or requested
- Planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities within the district curriculum as well as the Individual Educational Program for each student
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and communicating progress with appropriate students, staff, parents, and other members of the school‑based team(s)
- Collaborating with regular classroom teachers, other specialty teachers, and related service providers in the development of a variety of strategies to meet the educational needs of special education students
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four‑year college
- Valid Tennessee teaching license with an endorsement in special education
