Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Plant Controller for a well-established manufacturing organization based in Clinton, Tennessee. This is a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity supporting plant operations, financial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Plant Controller serves as the financial leader for the manufacturing facility, partnering closely with plant leadership to drive profitability, strengthen operational performance, and support strategic decision-making. This highly visible role is responsible for forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, inventory controls, financial reporting, internal controls, and business planning while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the operation. The Plant Controller will play a critical role in aligning financial performance with plant operations and driving accountability through data‑driven decision‑making.

- Lead financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, and business planning activities for the manufacturing facility
- Monitor plant performance against operating plans, production goals, and key financial metrics while providing operational insights to leadership
- Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement, and efficiency initiatives while maintaining oversight of inventory controls and fixed asset accounting
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting processes and partner with operations leadership to drive accountability and corrective actions
- Strengthen cycle count processes and inventory accuracy in partnership with materials and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, company policies, and internal and external audit activities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience within a manufacturing environment required
- Experience supporting plant operations through forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of inventory controls, fixed assets, SOX compliance, and audit support activities
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
Salary range of $100,000–$120,000 annually
