Plant Maintenance Mechanic – Mechatronics and PLCs

Join a high-performance maintenance team. Become a key contributor at Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. in Clinton, TN. On 3rd shift within our General Maintenance department, you’ll safeguard uptime across complex automated and electromechanical systems.

• Proactively inspect, test, and diagnose industrial equipment using visual checks, instrumentation, and operator feedback.
• Strip down and rebuild defective machines; install repaired/new parts to OEM standards.
• Perform lubrication, cleaning, and alignment to maintain reliability.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical apparatus (wiring, transformers, electronic machine components).
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic piping systems.
• Service gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related devices.
• Support building and facility structural upkeep.
• Program, install, and repair automated machinery/controls.
• Operate lathes, mills, and other machine tools to fabricate/repair parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
• Cut, weld, and fabricate as required.
• Execute routine and preventive maintenance; perform other duties as assigned.

• Math proficiency (percentages, area, circumference, volume).
• Read/interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals; write clear reports and correspondence.
• Strong communicator and problem-solver with sharp attention to safety, detail, and workmanship quality.

• Experience in general maintenance or similar roles.
• Hands-on exposure to Mitsubishi and Omron PLCs.

Education

One-year college/technical certificate, or two (2) to four (4) years of related experience with a high school diploma/G.E.D., or an equivalent combination.
