Position Summary
Maintains all aspects of the dies to ensure the quality of cast components.
Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Lifts using hoist or crane.
- Polishes grinds, and finish core insert.
- Performs layout according to design specifications.
- Disassembles and assembles die parts.
- Uses pipe threader to cut and thread pipe.
- Wires limit switches.
- Completes daily reports of all die repair content.
- Completes Preventative Maintenance check sheet.
- Fabricates any needed items.
- Operates milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Welding experience
Education/Training/Certifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school, or two (2) to four (4) years experience and high school diploma or G.E.D., or equivalent combination of education and experience.
