Stock Cage Attendant

Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment in an industrial establishment.

• Issues tools, repairs parts, and safety items to members.
• Maintains records of tools and repaired parts issued and returned.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and repaired parts.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and repaired parts.
• Requisition s stock to replenish inventory.
• Inspects tools and equipment for defects and wear. Reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Delivers tools or equipment to members.
• Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Two to four years related experience and high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.

• Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Must perform job duties onsite when necessary, except those duties that are customarily or by nature performed offsite.

• Must manage multiple assignments at once and complete them within deadline and budget with satisfactory quality.
