THE OPPORTUNITYFaith Promise Church is seeking a full-time fpKIDS Pastor/Director (depending on experience) to lead kids ministry at our Anderson Campus. You'll lead all aspects of fpKIDS for children from birth through 5th grade, manage and develop 50+ volunteers, and create an environment where kids and families encounter Jesus and experience spiritual transformation. This is a leadership role perfect for someone ready to scale kids ministry impact in a dynamic, multisite church.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL- Lead all aspects of fpKIDS (birth–5th grade) at the Anderson Campus: preschool, early childhood, elementary, small groups, welcome teams, safety protocols, and midweek programming.
- Recruit, train, and develop 50+ volunteers to deliver excellent, spiritually transformative experiences in large group, small group, and event settings.
- Create a loving, safe environment where kids (6 weeks–5th grade) and parents experience spiritual growth and feel genuinely known by leaders.
- Design and execute milestone events (Kid Steps, Child Dedications, Pop-Up Weekends) and outreach events that connect families to the Faith Promise community.
- Develop team leaders and create layers of volunteer leadership (coaches, small group captains) to multiply ministry impact.
- Own strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, and operational excellence to run a high-capacity, scalable kids ministry.
- Contribute to church-wide initiatives and special events that advance our mission to win the world by equipping Christ-followers.
You're a strategic leader passionate about kids' spiritual formation and volunteer team development. You thrive in multisite, fast-paced environments. You communicate clearly, inspire excellence, and balance execution with vision. You're organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented. You believe deeply that kids' ministry is not babysitting—it's discipleship and spiritual formation.
Most importantly:
You're a fully devoted Christ-follower aligned with our values and mission to win the world by equipping others to win their world.
- 2+ years of experience in kids ministry leadership, volunteer management, or equivalent
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams (30+ people preferred)
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Excellent relational skills and ability to connect with diverse people
- Collaborative, adaptable mindset; thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Personal faith commitment to Jesus Christ
- Experience in a multisite church or organization
- Background in kids ministry curriculum development or spiritual formation
- Experience with volunteer management systems
- Approximately 32 hours per week (includes Sunday services and occasional evening events)
