What You'll Bring to the Table (Requirements)- 7+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment with a strong background in Quality Management
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience within a manufacturing setting
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred;
Associate degree with relevant certifications and quality experience considered - Comprehensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, products, and customer quality requirements
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and methodologies, including ISO and IATF requirements
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings with extensive GD&T knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Minitab, CAD Viewer software, and quality management tools
- Excellent leadership, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage skilled teams, drive accountability, and support customer-focused quality initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and develop Quality Team personnel to ensure compliance with procedures and standards
- Manage Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Test/Metrology Labs, Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE), and Quality Systems teams
- Drive resolution of internal and external product, process, and engineering quality concerns
- Provide leadership and support throughout product development, launch, and manufacturing operations
- Maintain and enhance quality management systems, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs) for the manufacturing facility
- Lead corrective and preventive action processes, ensuring effective root cause analysis and long-term solutions
- Facilitate lessons learned, read-across activities, and continuous improvement projects across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained at all levels
- Serve as a key liaison between manufacturing sites, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to support product and process quality
